Research interests: Behavioural Ecology and Molecular Ecology
Paternity and maternity in the communal nesting system of the ostrich, and paternity in monogamous species of birds. Molecular markers to look at the the effects of male mating strategies on gene flow in freshwater fish species. Phylogeny and population structure of Goodeid fish. Male mating success in bush crickets.
