Congratulations to Alessandra who has successfully defended her PhD thesis. Alessandra’s thesis looked at the impact of invasive pine trees in the Cerrado at the earliest stages of invasion. One aspect of her research also focused on how habitat structure can mediate the impact of these invasive species in a biodiversity hotspot.
