The principal aim of my research is to investigate surface-active and leaf-litter dwelling arthropod biodiversity in urban gardens of different ages in St Andrews, UK. Further background to the study can be found onĀ the project website

Research Interests

My research interests include general conservation issues relating to arthropods and in particular the arachnids, improvements to the pitfall trap methodology, and various aspects of museum specimen conservation with particular interest in fluid mounting/conservation of zoological specimens.
