Boat surveys done!

Compulsory for the students of the Marine Ecosystem Management course is a module on Marine Biodiversity and Ecosystem Functioning. To evaluate biodiversity and ecosystem functioning you need data, so the students have to go out and collect some data that they can analyse. This year we had 3 trips on a small boat out of St Andrews harbour to collect data describing the physical and biological environment. Here are some photos from this year’s surveys.
