- Appreciate data exploration techniques and the common pitfalls in tackling a data analysis
- Recognise common problems associated with analysis of ecological and evolutionary data
- Understand alternative approaches to model selection
- Perform statistical modelling using GLM, GLMM, GAM, GAMM
- Handle the analysis of count and zero-inflated data
- Recognise the power of Bayesian inference and its utility in ecological and evolutionary biology
