TReND, Teaching and Research in Natural Sciences for Development in Africa, is an organization that promotes teaching and research in Africa. They offer summer research volunteer opportunities for students interested in aiding scientific development across Africa.
TReND considers applications from exceptional and adventurous undergraduates who are keen to create and teach courses in Africa (see the ‘volunteer’ section of the website). They also consider applications from undergrads interested in volunteering while based here in the UK.
